
If you’ve ever wanted to download a Google Maps photo in order to save it as a desktop background or slideshow for your desktop?
In this example, we’re using the search term: Torres del Paine National Park located in Magallanes and Chilean Antarctica, Chile
1. Once you’ve located the photo that you want to download step #1 is to click on the 3-dot menu beside the photo author’s name and then click on “Report a problem” (see image below).

2. Next, right-click on the image and click on “Open image in new tab” (see image below).

3. When the image opens in a new tab, you’ll notice that the resolution is very small 400×225 pixels.
4. To increase the resolution, simply update and edit the URL as follows…

4K resolution in image pixels is 3840 x 2160.


4. Final step is to right-click on the image and click on “Save image as…” to the folder of your choice (see image below) and then enjoy! 😁
